The Garcia Family has been giving back to the community for over 13 years. Michelle & Ed run a successful childcare business, R Kids Come First, and non-profit sports program, Let's Get Moovin'. Over the years, they have continued to run a structured preschool program, caring for young children in their home. Let's Get Moovin' provides a safe and fun way for kids to learn sports and teamwork. The program has expanded into 9 schools and to children living in shelters. Through the pandemic, Michelle and Ed have shown what matters most. They continue to adapt to changing protocols to keep children safe, healthy, and thriving. This family of essential workers serves our community in multiple ways and leads by example, making them excellent contenders for this generous donation.
Our mission is to find a deserving charitable organization, individual person, or family who could benefit from up to $10,000 of our painting services, supplied at no cost. We are ready and willing to get to work, but we do need your help deciding who could most benefit from this giveaway. We are accepting nominations now through April 26th!
After reviewing all submissions, we will choose three finalists and share their stories here. We then will rely on your votes to make our final decision.
