Congratulations to the Davis Arts Center, the recipient of the Brooks Painting 2014 Charity Paint Give-Away! Of our three finalists, DAC received the most votes and Brooks will be donating up to $10,000 in painting services for their facility. It is our honor to be able to give back to the communities we work in through our Charity Paint.
Davis Arts Center is a gathering place for people of all ages to learn and experience the arts in an engaging community environment. They offer more than 300 classes in visual art, music, dance, literary and theater arts, martial arts and physical wellness. They present and host a variety of theater and music performances each year, including their annual Classical Guitar Series, as well as interactive family-friendly programs such as their annual Holiday Sale, Discovery Art and Junk 2 Genius.
The Arts Center, built in 1987, is a large facility that includes seven studio classrooms, a gallery, an indoor community space, as well as two stages for performances. Davis Arts Center has, as part of their strategic plan, recently rebranded and now have a new name and logo, along with a new website (davisartscenter .org). Their next steps are to improve their physical space, however they have a need for many costly upgrades and repairs, which will require their complete facilities budget. The Center, which is open nearly every day, is at the northeast corner of Davis Community Park and is highly visible – fresh paint on the building would not only benefit the Arts Center, but improve the entire corner.
Davis Arts Center is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization governed by a Board of Directors. The majority of their funding comes from class registration fees and annual membership, which they keep low and affordable for patrons. Some additional funding comes from private donations, corporate and private foundations.

Eric and his crew were on time every day and did a very thorough job. I was thrilled that they were willing to paint my outdoor light fixtures which were getting rusty. I was particularly impressed how much time they spent going over their work at the end to catch spots that were missed. I’ll be using them again for interior painting.

Brooks did a fantastic job on our exterior and interior paint jobs. Quality was high, price was reasonable, and the team was extremely professional and detail-oriented. Mark was our crew lead and the team performed a number of exterior wood repairs, a door re-stain, interior and exterior painting. Mark clearly takes a lot of pride in his work and went above and beyond to ensure the work was high-quality, including finding exact matching siding to fix dry rot, and performing minor repairs that weren't even included in the quote. He and the team were all consistently positive and personable, joking with each other throughout the day, while also genuinely complimenting each other on the quality of their work. It was great to see, and that positivity definitely showed through the work they did. We couldn't be happier with the end result.
Brooks Panting Inc. just finished painting the exterior of our house. The crew did a terrific job. The house is a mid century modern with redwood paneling and an unusual amount of trim work. The Brooks crew was efficient, the quality of the painting was exceptional and the work was completed on time! Because of the age of the house several panels needed to be replaced. Brooks had the expertise to closely match the new paneling with the old paneling. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. They are professionals!
Mark and the team from Brook’s Painting are exceptional at their jobs. We recently renovated a 5000sqft home and they did all the painting.
