Project Spotlight: Sacramento Streng Home Exterior Transformation

We recently transformed this stunning Streng home from top-to-bottom! This home is one of about 4,000 homes the Streng Brothers designed from 1960 to the 1980s in the Sacramento region. With its iconic low-pitched roof, high windows, and clean lines, it's the epitome of mid-century modern.

Aside from minor touch-ups and dry rot repairs, this home hadn't been painted since it was built in 1972. It's safe to say it needed a lot of TLC! Our crews gave the exterior a thorough power wash, including the mossy chimney. The homeowners were able to see the original flashing on the chimney for the first time thanks to the power wash!

After seeing another house with a bright yellow front door, the homeowners were inspired to bring similar colors to their house. We absolutely love how the colors accentuate the home's unique architecture and compliment the lush landscape.
