We recently posted a photo of these doors we painted on our Facebook page and got a bunch of “likes” and positive feedback. It’s a row of doors freshly painted for one of our favorite clients (The Window and Door Shop) to use in their showroom. I started wondering why so many people liked this photo. It’s just a bunch of doors lined up; what is so intriguing or attractive? I have my theory. I think that people are attracted to the mix of door types and the mix of colors, especially seeing them side by side. People love it, yet, when it’s time for their own home they get spooked and stick with a basic door style in a basic white color. That's fine, if that's what you like and want, BUT, if you’re drawn to these styles and colors, go with your instinct! Pick a unique door in a unique color as an accent in your home. It’s not just the exterior of front doors that can be in fun colors; give it a try on an interior door too. Keep in mind your home style, furnishings, etcetera, and browse unique ideas. Trust what your eye is drawn to and go for it!

I wanted to have my kitchen cabinets painted but knew that that was a job that required skill and expertise. I called Brooks Painting and the experience from start to finish was perfect! Everyone I dealt with was personable and good at their jobs. They spent time answering questions, explaining the exact process, and did the work precisely as promised. They even did a few other small jobs (repairing and painting 2 water damaged ceilings) to perfection. And everything was neat and clean when they left! And the cabinets – better than I could have hoped for. Esteban is a master craftsman who was meticulous in every aspect of his work. The finish is smooth as glass with no imperfections. I couldn’t be happier!

Brooks Panting Inc. just finished painting the exterior of our house. The crew did a terrific job. The house is a mid century modern with redwood paneling and an unusual amount of trim work. The Brooks crew was efficient, the quality of the painting was exceptional and the work was completed on time! Because of the age of the house several panels needed to be replaced.
