H.O.A. Exterior Painting in Progress
Recently Brooks Painting was been awarded an H.O.A. exterior paint job in Vacaville, California. This contract consists of 82 duplex homes that need complete exterior painting. LLW Properties of Vacaville, Ca. had put the request out to a few painting contractors to bid on painting all the exteriors at The Waterford Community. It was close, competitive bidding for the most part. It is great to see contractors adding value to what they do, especially on re-painting an H.O.A community. H.O.A communities take a lot of busy work to complete; there is a lot of behind the scenes stuff that goes on that clients don’t always realize. These behind the scenes services need to come with an added cost to truly provide a service with value and quality application. Posting notices and taking calls from residents is what we do to ensure as many people possible are pleased and happy with the painting and service we provide. Remember, every home you paint is also a potential client as well, and may hire you in the future or recommend your company to people they know. It’s important for H.O.A. property managers to remember they are not just getting a price to paint some building, but also looking for a company that will represent you and your company well. The quality of service has an effect on both parties involved. You also want to make sure the company you hire has the resources to provide this level of service. It’s important that your selected painting company communicates with the residents and posts notices to make a task this large go smoothly for everyone involved. Providing a point person to take calls is also helpful for residents and provides a level of service assuring that someone is there to answer any questions they may have or take care of any special request one might have.
We currently have finished 42 units in phase 1 in five weeks and have made our client’s believers that not every painting company is the same. We look forward to phase two in the spring and the management company does as well, because sometimes getting these H.O.A painting jobs off and running can be a task in itself.
