Downtown Davis Crayon Color Project
Sometimes You Need To Stand Out!
Brooks Painting just completed a very fun project in downtown Davis, CA at Teach Your Children on E Street. I got a call from Lauren, the store owner, who we painted for 10 years ago at his house. His landlord had agreed to paint the outside of his store front, and he had such a great experience on his house, he wanted us to do the work. The problem was Lauren’s store just disappeared into the corner because of the colors. So he charged me with making it stand out. The building used to be burgundy and grey. Using Sherwin Williams paints, we painted the walls & columns in a bright yellow 6906 Citrus. We painted the eaves and fascia in an off white 6385 Dover White. Then each of the four columns we painted to look like crayons in primary colors. One is 6946 Pulsating Blue, then 6924 Direct Green, then 6893 Kid’s Stuff (orange), and finally 6868 Real Red. What a great difference it made; you can see it from the street now and Lauren is thrilled. Check out this picture of the completed job, or even better go by and see for yourself.
