Architectural Features & Painting: El Dorado Hills Transformation

Sometimes when it comes to painting, less is more! Different architectural features will allow for different paint schemes. When homes or businesses have a great deal of trim work, stucco pop outs, or accents, home and businessowners can choose to accent these pieces or have them blend in.

With this home in El Dorado Hills, our client wanted the unique features of their home, such as the stone, copper, and landscaping to be the focal point. Given this, we collaborated with our client on colors and decided to have all of the stucco pop outs be painted the body color to have them blend in. Choosing this option neutralized the trim and allowed for the house to become the backdrop!

We were able to simplify the scheme, which highlighted the architectural aspects of the entire property. Check out the beautiful transformation using Sherwin Williams Aged White SW 9180 for the gutters and fascia and Stucco SW 7569 for the body.
